Learn how they have grown their art ecosystem since 1959, and created both a retail and wholesale marketing arm of Arctic Co-operatives Limited, a service organization owned and controlled by 32 community-based, multi-purpose co-operatives in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon. Arctic Co-operatives Limited is dedicated to the improvement of the economic well-being of co-op communities by providing art marketing expertise and services to ensure the long-term viability of co-op community produced art as well as the preservation of the Inuit and Dene heritage as depicted through arts and crafts.
